The fabrics that we use in our apparel are unique and one-of-a-kind. We use cortes, which are part of the traditional Mayan dress worn by women in Guatemala. Cortes are a work of art and can take months to complete. The colors and the pattern woven into the materials represent the village and culture the woman is from. Once the woman has outgrown her corte she can sell it to make additional income. We are using these specialty fabrics to create one-of-a-kind skirts, dresses and jackets.
Not every corte can become part of the 4 All Humanity line. We are self-described fabric "nerds" and we search endlessly through the fabric markets and only use the pieces that are of the utmost quality and those that "speak" to us.
